こんにちは,
Today is a very meaningful day and should be remembered by all the people who are involved in the event: Visit of Japanese students from Hakuo High School to Chong Hwa Independent High School.
Early in the morning we have been waiting for the arrival of them in the hall of the school.
Anticipation has driven us to the most excited state when the opening ceremony has kicked start with the Lion Dance performance from our school.
Luckily, we still can hold our horses and remain in calm to wait those Japanese students ascending to the hall.
" Look! There's a pretty girl over there" discussed by me and Pooi Heing from time to time when they are walking into the hall.
Most of them trimmed their hair stylishly, especially the males.
Unlike us, we aren't allow to do so.
That's a very sad fact to be mentioned, though.
Attracting performance of their drum play has caught many attention from us.
This is the first encounter of me to watch Japanese Douban.
I believe that this is not an easy performance as they need many energy to move vigorously and shout out the tempo with their fighting spirit.
Apparently, i like it.
After the open ceremony has been finished, we lead them to have a stroll around our school to have a better cognition of our school.
Actually it's quite hard to communicate with them as they are quite illiterate on English language.
So i have to combine hand gesturing in my conversation with my partner, Hiiro Tomoya.
He's also very depressed when he couldn't speak well in English as he keep on apologizing to me.
However, i gave him many encouragement, such as i also can't speak well in Japanese, it is not a sin for not speaking good in English.
He's a very polite man. I believe all of them intrinsic this personalities too.
I have to learn more from them to enrich myself.
After the stroll, they're leaded to the New Student Block to have a taste on our local fruits, such as pamelo, ciku, durians, dragon fruit, starfruit and so on.
Durian is the fruit that they dislike the most as you can read from their weird expression after they have consumed it.
As 11am approached, we went back to the hall once again.
Tomoya is in charge of the Kendo in the hall.
He demonstrated a splendid fight to me and taught me some basic technique on it.
I felt really guilty when he commanded me to strike the bamboo sword on his helmeted head.
But if you are having some grudges to someone, striking with the sword is a also a preferable choice to release it too.
Besides, i am also having the opportunity to learn Judo.
The demonstrator taught us patiently on how to wear the suit correctly and some simple skills.
Don't ever attempt to bully me, i am mastered to Judo. HAHA.
After a couple of hours, lunch time has reached.
We lined up once again to wait for the closing ceremony to start...
Today indeed is a remarkable day for me.
I am really looking forward to visit Japan someday. : D
